Jessica Ryan-Garcia
Jessica Ryan-Garcia founded 3 Of Cups Events in 2014 with the intention to provide all folks with an inclusive space in the wedding and event industries. As a proud member of the Associated Wedding Planners of Austin, Jessica is part of a community of professional wedding planners committed to upholding ethical standards and fostering relationships in the local wedding industry. The team at 3 Of Cups Events is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement in the ever-evolving industry.
Jessica is passionate about wedding planning, which has been the most fulfilling part of her career. She offers not only planning and coordination services but also officiates wedding and vow renewal ceremonies. Over the past 9 years, she has grown the 3 Of Cups Team into a collective of event professionals. With over a thousand successful weddings and events, Jessica has mentored the 3 Of Cups Team to provide professional services with a personal approach.
With a background in theater and film production in New York and Austin, Jessica brings a wealth of experience to wedding planning. She has a working background in talent booking, venue management, and festivals. Her work at the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock City, Nevada influenced her unique perspective on cooperative planning and event management.
Jessica honed her venue management skills in the Director of Events role at the Amala Foundation’s wedding venue, The Sanctuary Event Space. She also worked as an Event Manager On Duty at notable venues such as Mercury Hall, Brodie Homestead, and The Allan House. With her seasoned experience and knowledge of wedding venues, 3 Of Cups Events offers venue location scouting services.
When she’s not working, Jessica resides in South Austin with her husband George, who serves as the lead DJ and sound engineer for the 3 Of Cups Sound Team. She is also supported by her father Fran, who is the business manager for 3 Of Cups Events. In her free time, Jessica enjoys driving her convertible Mustang around Austin and the Hill Country, listening to podcasts, and attending live storytelling shows, all the while savoring craft cocktails, good wine, and Austin’s best bites.
